My Credentials - Condensed
Formal training and education is important, but it’s certainly not the be all and end all of life.
That said, for those who are curious, below is a condensed version of my clinical CV.
This will give you a snapshot of my training and experience. I also have a more detailed CV in the next blog, just in case you’re interested in some of the other work I do.
Shea Lowery, MS, LPC, LPCC, LCPC
Clinical Focus & Experience
I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience providing trauma-informed mental health care to adults, teens, couples, and families across a wide range of clinical and community settings. My work is grounded in a deep understanding of complex trauma, neurodivergence, attachment, and the impact of systemic harm on mental health.
I specialize in working with individuals who:
Have experienced chronic, developmental, or relational trauma
Hold one or more marginalized identities
Feel stuck despite prior therapy
Are seeking depth-oriented, relational, and integrative care
In addition to clinical practice, I am a clinical supervisor, consultant, and educator, and I regularly train other mental health professionals in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive care.

I also provide:

Consultation for therapists working with complex trauma and ethical challenges
Clinical Background

Previous roles have included:

This breadth of experience allows me to hold both clinical depth and systems-level awareness, which many clients find especially helpful when navigating complex life circumstances.
Therapeutic Approach
My work integrates:
Trauma-informed and attachment-based therapy
EMDR and somatic approaches
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT)
Jungian-informed and depth-oriented psychotherapy
Neurodiversity-affirming care
I am especially attentive to how trauma lives in the body, how early relational patterns shape present-day struggles, and how cultural and systemic forces affect psychological well-being.
Training, Leadership, & Professional Expertise
In addition to clinical work, I am the co-founder and director of Anti-Racist Trauma-Informed Care (ARTIC), a consulting and training organization that supports healthcare systems, nonprofits, and educational institutions.
Through ARTIC, I have:
